To help strengthen our community, we organise several annual parties with the help of our WAC volunteers. This enables you and your child to practise your English language skills in a fun environment.
FREE entry for our WAC members
For the past few years, we have been very lucky with the weather enabling us to fully enjoy this annual event. We have a grill, share food, play games, enjoy conversation and a laugh. We may even get to meet a special guest (Mickey Mouse or Minion).
Being an International club with over 40 nationalities, this is one of our most interesting and educational events. Our WAC members represent their country by wearing traditional outfits, providing traditional food, teaching a traditional dance, song or activity from their country.
We also play games by testing the knowledge of our countries and traditions. We come together in admiration of our nationalities.
If you are a Halloween party enthusiast, then you have to be quick to sign up for this party. It’s our most popular party by far. Our WAC members benefit from early registration.
We organise games and crafts for the children, themed snacks, spooky story reading, best costume award and of course ‘Trunk or Treat’.
The WAC Christmas party has taken many different forms over the past years.
We have had a Christmas dinner with Santa, Christmas Photo-shoot, Christmas carol singing, themed crafts, Christmas market, Gingerbread house decorating, Christmas Afternoon Tea and more. It will certainly awaken the holiday spirit in you.
