Dinner Club
Are you a foodie? If so, join our WAC Dinner Club!
The WAC Dinner Club meets every other month to discover and dine in various restaurants in and around Uster.
We welcome all WAC members to enjoy a good meal, sparkling conversation with plenty of laughter.
The club aims to visit restaurants with as many International cuisine options as possible ranging from cosy bistros to fine dining restaurants.
Potluck
Potlucks are fun, so why not join our International Potluck Dinner Club, a fun get-together in Uster for all English speakers. The Potluck Club meets every other month for dinner in the WAC Club Room.
Potluck dinners are social gatherings where the attendees bring a dish for everyone to share. It’s also a way to share traditions and cultures through food.
With over 40 nationalities, themes rotate and each attendee is responsible for contributing a part of the meal.
In the past we have covered many food varieties such as, British, Lebanese, Harvest, Vegan and many more.
The Potluck club meets every other month for dinner at the WAC.
Free for WAC members (including Adult Social membership),
5CHF attendance fee for non-members.

Board Games Club
Our Board Game Club is for anyone who likes to play games and meet others to share in the fun in an English speaking environment. The Board Game Club meets every few months to play various adult board games in a relaxing environment.
The games are chosen based on the number of participants on the day.
A selection of games are available or you can bring one from your collection.
All adults (and kids 12+) are welcome to join.
The participants should bring a light snack/finger food or a drink to share.
There is a large parking metered area outside and easy access from Uster Train station.
Price:
Free for WAC members (including Adult Social membership),
5CHF attendance fee for non-members.

Evening Book Club
The Evening Book club is fondly called “The Readers Gone WACky” is a group of readers who meet and discuss a selected book.
The members meet approximately once a month at 8.00pm on a Tuesday evening in the WAC clubroom. Books are selected twice a year based on members’ suggestions.
The Readers Gone WACky currently consists of about 6 members from several different countries. It has been applauded for its diverse membership and ambiance. Everyone is welcome and every opinion is heard.

Wednesday Book Club
The Wednesday Book Club meets once a month on a Wednesday afternoon.
When the weather is nice, the book club will be held outside in the WAC garden area, but during the cold and rainy days it’s held in the WAC kitchen. A cup of tea/coffee will be offered. Small children are welcome to join.
New participants are always warmly welcomed as it makes for a more interesting book discussion. The next book is chosen at the end of each meet-up.
Attendance to our English book clubs is free for WAC members (including Adult Social membership) and non-members are also very welcome, at a fee of 5CHF per session.

Movie Nights
Come together for a drink, snack and watch a movie together in our clubroom. We show the movie using a projector, bake a pizza and enjoy some conversation before the movie starts. It’s a chance to watch a light, funny movie and share a laugh in a relaxed atmosphere.

The WAC Christmas Jumper Party
This is one of our special activities for adults only. It is much loved and eagerly waited for, each year. Come and proudly wear your Christmas Jumpers! Everyone attending brings a snack/drink and plays the ‘Bad Santa’ game.
Lots of fun and laughter is guaranteed.
Crafty Evenings
Having many crafty members, crafty evenings have become an annual thing when we would get together to make Christmas cards, Christmas ornaments and Christmas gifts.
There is no better gift for our loved ones, than giving them something that you have created with love and care.
