Connecting community, strengthening friendships and just having fun.
As we had to cancel the Annual BBQ the last couple of years, due to bad weather, we decided this year not to take any chances and found a lovely “Waldhütte” with indoor and outdoor space for the event. Luckily the rain stopped just as the first people arrived and we could use the great outdoor space while still having covered areas for the buffet and indoor play, like colouring or facepainting. The grill was on for several hours, so we never run out of sausages and meat, and the kids loved using it for marshmallows. While the adults used the time mostly for catching up, the kids had a great time running around in the forest and playing games together. Occasionally they even convinced some adults to join in the Badminton game or the limbo. We love spending time with our amazing community, coming together chatting, playing and laughing.
