Welcome to Spielgruppe WACkelöhrli, our lively Swiss-German playgroup that embraces children starting from age 2 through to kindergarten. Our playgroup is uniquely crafted to provide your child with the crucial linguistic and social skills, laying a solid foundation that aids a seamless transition to kindergarten.
Designed to nurture Swiss German language skills, our engaging activities stimulate cognitive function, encourage creativity, and refine both gross and fine motor skills. With play, songs, and theme-related crafts central to our curriculum, your child will bask in the warmth and fun of Swiss culture. Imagine the adventure of trips to the forest and local surroundings! These expeditions offer a natural and captivating context for experiential learning, fostering the fundamentals of the language in the most joyful way.

At WACkelöhrli Spielgruppe/LTCS Preschool, the teachers sometimes organize – weather permitting – spontaneous trips into the forest at their discretion, where children can immerse themselves in nature. Inspired by the principles of forest school, our activities include scavenger hunts, building bug shelters, following nature trails, creating woodland art, and playing imaginative games such as hide and seek. These experiences spark creativity, encourage curiosity, and foster a lasting appreciation for the natural environment in which we live.
A special highlight: The group is often accompanied by Cindy, a gentle, non-shedding, and allergy-friendly canine companion. She creates a calming and welcoming atmosphere and is excellent with children.
